The film’s trailer, which showcases characters speaking in contemporary language, has sparked discussion among audiences who expected historically accurate dialogue. In response to the feedback, Nolan remarked that his choice was intentional, prioritizing emotional impact over historical accuracy. He acknowledged that this approach might be contentious, but called it a “no-brainer” in terms of his creative vision.
“The Odyssey” narrates the epic journey of Odysseus as he attempts to return home after the Trojan War. In this ambitious production, Matt Damon takes on the role of Odysseus, with Anne Hathaway playing Penelope, Tom Holland as Telemachus, and Robert Pattinson portraying Antinous.
